Hours away, miles apart,
so far away, so close in heart.
The words you speak, keep me strong,
you lift me up where I belong.

The things you do, the things you say,
is what I hang on to each and everyday.
It is your thoughts, your sweet emotions,
that come to me in a very special way.

I know we have only just met,
my feelings,
my love for you,
there is just no way around it.

I long to talk to you more and more,
growing closer to you than the day before.
It is your gentle words,
that makes me need you here with me.

Your hand is the hand I long to hold,
your arms around me, never to let go.
I dream of the day your lips touch mine,
our bodies pressed with a gentle twine.

I long to be loved by a man like you,
you are so kind, so gentle, so pure.
I know for now these are just dreams,
but I long for the day they become reality.

Lots of us have experienced something like this, longing for dreams to come true.  Good luck with yours.  Nice to see a new face at the Pub.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

LilPeanut~
Your rhyme was just wonderful in this.
I enjoyed it immensely.

Really liked this thought -
'The words you speak, keep me strong,
you lift me up where I belong.'
