My son is on his way,
home from college.
My daughter will
be coming,
with her two small
cherubs,
and her husband,
who is my other "son".

This week, for the
first time,
in two long years,
I will have all six
of my children
together!

Is this complete joy
in a mothers heart?

Amazingly,
they all are friends.
They enjoy each others
company,
amid gales of laughter.
Their love and support
of one another,
is and endless wonder
to me.
They have their squabbles,
but they are minor ones.

I am most blessed
and thankful,
for this family
that surrounds me.
For this chaos
of laughter,
and dirty dishes.
For this love
of a gentle husband
and garden of children.

A cornucopia of Thanksgiving!

Have a great Thanksgiving Ellie. I saw my Mom this past weekend and going to my Aunt's and sister's on Thurs, and then next week see more family. So many things to be thankful for this yr, cant count them all.

Mom....

This is beautiful. John can be a little annoying though, don't you agree? Oh well, Thanksgiving was great...

btw everyone...my mom cooks thanksgiving dinner better than anyone!!!
