Queenie came the next morning
she is friend of Destiny
they chatted over coffee
while I made brekkers for us three

'How do you like your eggs your Highness?'
"over-easy" chimed BOTH queens
away from them I grimaced
for those are hard for me

I had a dozen eggs to start
for both the queens and me
little did i know the horror
that was yet to be

I cracked eggs into Revere Ware
and cooked them up quite nice
but then came the " over-easy' part
and too proud for advice...

I gave my very bestest try
and it just got worse from there!
one egg on the kitchen floor
another through the air

So I cracked another
then two more maybe three
I still don't know where they went
all I know is that they're "free"

Left with only five eggs
and at least my toast was fine
If I cannot make them they're eggs
I'll simply make them ' mine '

A bowl and fork are all I need
to make eggs for royalty
i cracked all five into the bowl
and mixed them......quietly

Some butter in the fryin pan
then in the eggies go
now with my favorite spatula
my talents will I show!!

I placed the eggs on pretty plate
(( Pfaltzgraff from JCPENNEY ))
Des looked down at hers and said
"Over-easy... just like mine ,Sol-hunny!! "

but isnt it a bit smarter to ask the fairies to use their magic wands and create their own "over-easy eggies"

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

So Seuss sounding...on to three...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.
