hey, i know i don't come here often due to the death of desire to write...but here's someting i managed to whip up on a long drive

moving away from the heartlands
passing acres of fields and pastures
shantied up houses
rows of pines
and knick-knacks for sale on the side of the road
feeling beat like kerouac
jack to be exact
seeing this country and all it's places
new sounds, new sights, new people, new faces
The desire for the Road hits me
pack it up an dget on the move
-leave the world behind
eat at little diner's in Texas
sleep in alley's in Cali
walk next to miles of corn and crop
-the midwest prairies
small fishing town's on Maine's cost
and back again to the swamps and heritage of home
to see it all, to live it all
and maybe write a few poems along the way

I hope so..maybe this is just what you need to regain your desire to write.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Well, if you are going to pen such as this, then you must come back VERY soon....

I enjoyed the snapshots from your travels here.  This does sound like enough inspiration for quite a bit of writing.
