Rainy Tuesday

Rainy Tuesday morning slumber
Overcomes the spirit’s will
Warmth of blankets keeps me under
Spells of tapping on my sill

Puttering raindrops softly wrapping
Lazy rhythms on the pane
Soothes the ear while I’m still napping
To the music of the rain

Would that I could stay forever
In this cozy dreamy bliss
Cradled in a gentle feather
Taking in the moment’s wisp

Lazy moods are wrought by weather
Rainy Tuesday days like this

Elizabeth Santos

Liz,
This is a warm cozy poem, the gentle rythum of the rain one of natures sweet songs!

When the veiling cloud has passed

Oh Elizabeth, the sun is out, but now I'm ready for a nap, this is so soothing...

Lizzie~

That gentle rain has reached my head,
begging me - go back to bed !
Now it also pitter-patters
on my sill in lots of splatters !

You just make me want to go home
and snuggle,
quilted through the rest of the day.

May the rain be as gentle as your lovely thoughts.

I was wishing that I could have stayed in my warm cozy bed today too, Elizabeth. It would have been the perfect day to stay under the comforter. Lovely poem!

Liz;Delicous cozy poem. The only place to be on a rainy tuesday, snuggled down under the down. Love, Ellie

I love rainy days. It gives a great mood to muse over a lot of things. Anyway, the poem was great!

Love it when it rains, as long as i'm inside that is

Life has got to chnage,
Nothing stays the same,
Soon it will be time,
For me to move on.
