what beauty this my eyes behold, curled tresses long sweet face enfold, cheeks tinged with rose like colored flush, eyes downward caste in youthful blush, hands folded neatly, smoothly clasped, such sight my heart does firmly grasp, full figured yet demurely dressed, my gaze on this perfection rests, words spoken softly without haste, no other has my love embraced, this time, this place, this woman blessed, enjoin to put my soul to rest. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
