Hank and Maury are just too shy
To tell of themselves on their own,
So me their french ferret friend,
Will tell what's not yet known.
Maury's a quiet lizard,
Name shortened from Maurice,
Follows Hank around the swamp,
As he sees who he can fleece.
He's not too awful slimy,
And he's not too good at pranks,
But Hank can get him pretty riled,
As he pulls him into his ranks.
On the other hand there is Hank,
Who likes a good practical joke,
Especially when it's on those frogs,
Fun at them he likes to poke.
Hank is fairly slimy,
And just doesn't know when to quit,
Sometimes he's pushed Sam and Bob too far
Causing Flo to have a fit.
But all in all they get along,
With the frogs and this french ferret,
And when those frogs get them good,
They tend to just grin and bear it.

Well, Bonnie, your a defender of those lizzards for sure & I can see how much Maury & Hank have with those frogs, besides their one down (frogs may have cheated) and I expect Hank is coming up with something to get them back...they(frogs)said you two laughed at Flo when she tried to sing...well, I'm staying out of it..(as if I'm not instigating something here)!!

Bonnie,
A good read, another character from the swamps steps up to the microphone to fill in some missing details of Swamp Life! Great fun!

Wee Wee Monsieur Ferret,
Who helps us his friends to see,
And if Marcy looks a little closer
She now can count :1-2-3!
Things have a way of equalling out
And none of us are so bad,
We give and take with the best of them
With no one staying mad.
Our swamp is cosmopolitan
With each sector having something to give,
Thus we challenge and enrich each other-
As we all learn to grow and to live!

Bonnie, thank you for coaxing the ferret
to share with us about Maury & Hank.
WEEBEE3 salutes you!

P.S. Would you mind telling us what Mr. Ferret's name is?

Dear Bonnie; What fun, I knew that Maury and Hank were sweet at heart, and now we have Sam, Bob and Flo the WeeBee3 frogs and Ozzie the owl, and a clever little french ferret from the bayou, ( he does need a name, possibly Piere?) or Frenchy the Ferrret? Wonderfully done, dear friend, you are so clever! What fun!!!! Love, Ellie

Hi Marcy - Yep, gotta watch those frogs, hmmmm does seem like there is a little instigation goin' on here......

Dennis - That swamp is startin' to rock.... can't wait to hear more from those frogs!

WEEBEE3- It's great isn't it...frogs and lizards, and owl and a ferret....all just gettin' along...great poem....

Ellie - I like Frenchy....So, now he has a name!!!  I think ol' Hank and Maury will be looking for a Bernice or Harriet to join them, the Ozzie and "Frenchy" can be the wise ones of each trio... Bonnie

Bonnie~

Oh, I like this Frenchy Ferret
He can grin and bare it
(whoops ... I meant bear it)
And now I can barely stop laughing !
Cute, cute, cute !
