Oh I love living out in the country,
I love the cat that chases the mouse,
The apple trees are blooming in the backyard,
I love this house!

Who cares if the ceiling in leaky,
If the chimney's all cracked and broke,
Who cares if the old well needs fixing,
I still have hope!

I love living out in the country,
I love the cat that chases the mouse,
The apple trees are blooming in the backyard
I love this house!

In the autumn we'll go and pick some berries,
With our fingers dyed purple and red,
I 'll laugh cause my daddy looks so funny,
Standing on his head!

We love living out in the country,
we love the cat that chases the mouse,
The apple trees are blooming in the backyard,
We love this house!

Now to put all this into context, Little Rhi and Silas, her adopted daddy, lived in a hunting cabin in the woods. Their " cat " *L*
was a grey furred lion-man named Carthage Steele, a blacksmith from Atlantis. Kinda changes the image, but that's the way it was *L*
