Beautiful Eyes

Your eyes, your beautiful eyes
A trust, bond between
revealing, exposes your pain
we talk silently, you cry.
I feel your whisper
knifing into my awareness
you cry your tears, softly.

Your life, your failures
pour into, consume, capture
braided mutual understanding.
Your eyes, your beautiful eyes
cloud with water, suddenly
filling with life’s betrayal
we cry your tears, together.

Mine, yours, ours, once upon
crashing surf like in waves
futility lovingly shared
until small saddened smile.
Sharing again; a word, another smile
a hug, a touch...just knowing
I cry your tears, for you...
your  beautiful, beautiful eyes.

(For Dena, once again...)

What wonderful tenderness you show here!  She is fortunate to have you to share her tears.

thank you, Denise...special indeed!
and Dena, how sweet... joining to post a reply... i am touched. Wow to have number 2 and 3 on the five best compliments in life menu! I am honored by your friendship!
by the way, Wendy Woo thinks it's precious  that I write and you love the poems...
As for listening, I am your friend, my dear.
Friends listen, and hug, and share, and confide, and I am your respectfull friend
for as long as you allow (even if you don't invite me along...pout, pout, pout). As for inspiring something more than poetry...you
already do, my friend (see above, please).
Love you too! "the girl with those beautifull eyes!"

Reading your post and the replies has made me feel like a "fly on the wall" but a very happy fly.  Wonderful feelings expressed here - thank you for the read.

What a wonderful, heartfelt poem! I love it. You spoke of Wendy Woo. Is this the same Wendy Woo that played poker in Video Poker Room 6?

hey Best,
thanks for the imput!
Could be the same WW...
although she usually plays Majhong (sp?)
or Bingo...she may have "stepped out"
to play some poker...
she usually plays bingo and such as
"Mrs. Moo" or "SisterWendy" i think...
although i don't monitor her net
activities...i have "caught" her
in the bingo halls several times.
She's always trying to win me something...
