Soft golden rays play across my face I hear the softness of your breath Your warmth percolates my touching skin Your hair is gently wispy across your face The rise and fall of life The rhythm of your breast Night images play with my bleariness Teasing and pleasing me A soft song of fulfilment hangs on my lips If I could only capture these moments And sculpture them in stone Paint them in oils Lift them from the air And place them on the page Lock them away for all eternity In a cage of thanks Fashioned in hope For all to see These moments so precious Are so fleeting They can slip away unnoticed And the hopeless are bereft Of a gift so fine That it could change time forever Consciousness In all its glory Is knocking on your door You wipe the sweet sleep From your eyes A smile forms your lips A sparkle lights your eyes I am Alive Jon Mewett Folks I am sorry I can't respond more at the moment to your fine posts.......I am in the studio....I should be free more after tomorrow Friday ....I'll get around...........regards Jon [This message has been edited by Jon Mewett (edited 10-12-2000).] |
