Paint drips off the trees
Branches stretch in search of sun
Face cold winds alone

Empty tree now prays
Naked branches lifted high
Begs for early Spring

....................................................

Moonbeams radiate
When the veiling cloud has past
Playful shadows dance

I agree  its a work of art

What a phenomenal picture of autumn you paint with your words.  After reading the first two collections of your Autumn haikus, I'm assuming that Autumn is your favourite season?   I enjoyed both, but love the first haiku!

Take care,

Dennis,

So where do I sign up to learn how to write haikus like this???  I believe Melissa called you the haiku king in one of her replies.. and would have to agree!

Dennis~
What an original thought -
'Paint drips off the trees'

How perfect is this ????
Wonderfully said.
