Smiles

You reached out to me.
I found you amusing,
A pleasant and cheerful companion,
And my face smiled.

You made me think.
I found you interesting,
A challenge to my ways of seeing,
And my mind smiled.

You touched my soul.
I found you important,
A friend who brightened my life,
And my heart smiled.

Finally my spirit knew you.
I found I had always loved you,
A part of me through eternity,
And my whole being smiled for you.

Chanson - This is a new way to express my music.  I think we have much in common.
Denise - Thank you for accepting one more into the fold.
Vicky - I have already read and admired several of your poems.  It is nice to be in such exalted company.

Welcome to the pub... I hope you find it as enjoyable to be here as I have... The friends abound in many corners   ... You're poem made me smile and I'm sending it on to a close friend...I'm sure they'll enjoy it as much as I have...Looking forward to seeing more by you    Nicole.

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.

Thank you very much, Kaile!  I'm pleased you like my poetry.  I mostly just write what I feel and try to make it flow well.  Thanks for pulling this up.
