Pretend Time it's time to play for awhile grown up girls pretend not of dolls and of toys but of life and pretend joys you'll walk through my imagined door i'll act surprised when i see you've arrived of course, i'll no longer will wear his ring do want to keep this play dream clean as fairy tales do go my dress will cause you to glow when your eyes meet mine and we taste the wine the music plays low as we dance real slow i'll cancel the very next line now, i'll close my book of lies of dreams and fairy tales it's time to cook dinner i'll be a big winner although, i went out and played today pretend for grown up girls with my hair rolled up on curls hi honey, so glad your home! this is a little silly (a lot silly) and have no clue where it came from |

it came from a housewife's frustration with routine.. it's a Walter Mitty type daydream and very well done too!..  the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Marcy, Our lives partake both of fact & fantasy. When the facts get difficult or humdrum/ fantasies can be brought out to brighten & lighten things up a bit. No harm in that- unless we chose to live there instead. I don't think you have that problem! An interesting diversion here, Thank You, David WOW- another day of life-and here among friends!
