Reflections

yesterday
the light shone bright
your voice, set the mood
became my music
your thoughts, my routine

leaning into you
closer still,
the warmth of your smile
lit my ~velvet eyes~
and heated the icy cold
from hands
reaching out
to fill your wants
your desires
my needs

today
the light was brighter still
and all of yesterday
became today
and all of today
will become tomorrow
we will dance in the bright
to the tune of your sighs
as you touch me
and my ~velvet eyes~
