Okok, hehe.. WHAT is this, you say?! ^_^ Mmm.. I just found one of my past experiments.. aaaand... i don't think it worked too well, hehe.. but I'd be interested to see what u guys think.. Oh, by the way, i have a thing with comas.. lol.. so, there are LOTS in this.  The Lady, M’lady The lady, sitting quietly in shaded green, Willow branches, bend to kiss her hand. In her arms a sleepy kitten, she holds; White as her dress, perfect as her nose As she looks down it, at all above her and below. Her blue eyes do wander, and to her, Seems the river is too wet, and the ground is too dirty, And the sky, is not blue enough. A pale, soft hand waving vaguely in the air, Dismisses bowing willow waterfalls, From the presence of ‘Her Majesty’. Flower in her hair, a daisy? I think not... Naught but a rose, exquisite, white of course. I slip, on the bridge, where I stand and judge, And m’lady glances up, catches my eye. I feel my face burning, ’though I’m quite sure my mind, She could not read. But before I turn away in shame, The lady, she smiles, warm, and bright. As I haltingly raise my hand, wave a tiny greeting, I hear her giggle, and she stands, winks at me, Before she turns her gaze, again, To the river and the ground and the sky. -LC [This message has been edited by Yu Lan (edited 09-04-2000).] |
