Faded Bluejeans And Barefeet Dreams

Skipping,
twirling,
tasting free.
Tangled vines
and old oak trees.
Buttercup stars
and blankets green.
Faded bluejeans
and barefeet dreams.
~*~
Tripping,
rolling,
warming breeze.
Sunshine smiles
and laughter seas.
Scented earth
and feathered sky.
Grant me wings
so I can fly.

Wow!! This reminds me of a lot of the dreams I usually have...only difference is, I have wings already   Beautiful poem, SpitFire!   This really cheers me up.

Spitfire; You have perfectly described the joy and freedom of childhood. My wish for myself and all those I love is to feel this way in the heart forever! Ellie

So light and whimsical. Just like childs play. I love it!

How can you save me?

SpitFire,
I agree, I agree. I just love the simplness of this poem and the simple joys in it.
