It's in the Eyes

Morning gray, life's hold
After-shock begins it's flow
Stirs the heart of me

Volatile midnight
Forces within erupting
Ending the unknown

Mourning love, life's hold
Tenderly seeking his know
Wonders of his thoughts

Reigning down today
Sad within his blue, pooling
At the heart of me

never did understand tne difference between senryu or haiku

Maureen~
Each of these is a lovely Senryu ...
together they make an even lovelier grouping
of your thoughts.
Very nicely done !

*Just cause you mentioned it -
Haiku contains thoughts about nature
or things that leave us in awe
at a wonder of nature.

Senryu contains other thoughts,
feelings or emotions.

these are great images, Maureen..recovering?
in any case, I love the word flow.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
