FROZEN LOVE

Wind on my face, life giving breath,
tickling, stirring, hope in my breast.
Sun shining down, the joining of lips,
warming inside as your tender kiss.

Pounding of rain, lustful desire,
flowing with need deep in my mind.
Birds as they sing, heart in full flight,
soaring, sweeping skies of delight.

Winter’s deep cold, freezing of souls,
stretching like icicles up to the moon.
Frozen in time, unthawed, preserved,
needing to be welcomed back home.

Nature apart, true to its form,
home to be real, firm to the touch,
but sun still the dawning of love
and night, forever, my heavenly bed.

What a beautiful portrait you present Helen!   Beautiful imagery and the works...and it seems like it rhymes even though it doesn't, great effect! It's a masterpiece.

Sven, Thanks - glad you liked it.  Where I come from summer is fast approaching but I envy you your anticipation of snow flakes.
