Apple Dumplings

Cinnamon twists and apple dumplings
Amish shoofly pie
Buttermilk biscuits, funnel cakes
And Pfefferneusse to try

Double crusted lemon tart
Scrumptious apple strudel
Apple fritters, apple pies
And casseroles with noodles

Chicken pot pie, Chicken soup
With honey oatmeal bread
Scalloped corn and Farmhouse Muffins
Red beet eggs in red

Sausage served with hot pancakes
Honey apple tea
Pork and sauerkraut for dinner
A-P cake for me

Cup cheese, cream cheese, buttermilk
Can get to be a habit
Potato cakes and home fries
Hasenpfeffer made with rabbit

I love Sunday Supper Soup
Breakfast served with scrapple
Gingersnaps, molasses candy
Funny cake and apples

Pepper cabbage, Pickled cabbage
Coleslaw all to choose
Molasses cookies, sugar cookies
Chocolate Scotcharoos

Doesn’t just the sound of it
Entice the hungry eye?
Dump-it-cake and peanut brittle
Pumpkin ice cream pie

Liz, you've got every sweet tooth in my mouth screaming for sugar. This is simply delicious! Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

*stomach growls hungrily*  Ahh...Sounds so very delicious..

With a little piece of tomorrow,
You'll have to kiss yesterday goodbye.
Because today won't last forever,
And the past will only make you cry.
