Evenings twilight hues
Crowned in majestic purple
Beckons twinkling stars

Glowing embers fade
Surrendering to to the night
Shadow kingdoms reign

And thus Bright Days reign
Superceeded by the Night
Shall work a return.

Changing of the Guard
Bright Colors to Midnight Blue
March in Royal style.

Very good Dennis- you've really help make this a Haiku Heaven!   David

Sun bows to the moon
in her royal purple robes
majestic stars shine

Royal blue is her throne
as she rules her nights kingdom
her crown of starlight

Wonderful, oh royal King of Haiku!

Just so beautiful Dennis, what lovely images you pen with so few words.  Looks like you and David and Ellie are the Three Haikuteers, they are all great.  Bonnie
