walking in the rain, one day i was
pondering those imponderables,
those things we wonder about our lives
things like love, inner-peace
and why orange juice tastes so bad after you brush your teeth,
when, all of a sudden
a rain drop stood up and spoke to me,
"je suis..."
"french i do not speak,"i interrupted
"i am so terribly sorry," said he
"'tis alright,"said i. "please do go on"
"i am a rain drop," he did declare
"oh yes,"i said. "that i can see,
what is it that you want with me?"
"well, it is human i wish to be,
and who better to teach me than those who that be?"
on this i did think and replied with care,
"a cow, maybe?"
"no!,"he cried. "you are human, me you can teach!"
"ok, why?," i then said
"humans have it great," he replied.
"a life of emotions, they get to live!"
"oh," said i. "if you say so"
"you speak as if me you don't believe" he cried
"i'ld rather be a rain drop," replied i
on that note, walk away he did, mumbling all the
while
made him angry, i must have, i then thought
oh well, i thought, and went to take a nap, i did

RichPa~
LOL !

'why orange juice tastes so bad after you brush your teeth'

Don't think I've ever seen this poetic reference before !
Clever.

But, truth IS truth.
It DOES taste awful !
