This was actually written several years ago for the person whose poetry and friendship inspired me to start writing. Just felt the need to share it tonight.  ___________________________________ your words are a special gift- a gift to me from God he saw my emptiness and sent you to fill the void I read your words your feelings and I recognize them for I have heard them... felt them before they are yours and yet they are my own how do you know my hopes my dreams my fears my pain my life I wonder... and then I remember- God gave you to me... my heart's friend -vlraynes Thanks dg. Marge- my poetic friend...thank you so much for all your responses to my poetry.
