Your message so bright
The glittering bugs in flight
Flickering their lights

I enjoyed the analogy of the Lightening bug's light to Haiku's. Good job (couldn't help myself with a little follow up)     Marcy

Allan; This is delightful! Very clever too.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

How delightful, allan!

This reminds me of those green and bronze scarab beetles that buzz around my garden in Spring.
And of glow worms, too.
And of your poems.
