A cold breeze kisses my face
as I step outside today,
a season close to its end;
hot days and nights fade away.
Soon the leaves will start to fall
and magnificent colors will shine,
The nights will become long;
leaving summer memories behind.

Beth,
  This is a beautiful poem, expressing a transition, but is it really about the seasons......or something else? Good writing!

Beth; So lovely! I too feel that those summer memories you are leaving behind say so much. Beautiful job! Love, Mom

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Still a tad bit of summer to add to those memories...thank goodness! I like that pic, hmm...seems a bit familar, like I have seen it before.

Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness.
