My anticipations fade out into the chill of the night, the full moon’s glow; my crushed hopes spotlight. The darkened street wet from the rain, the fog like a blanket; covering my pain. A yearning deep inside of me like a raging fire, unable to fully quench; my insatiable desire. I want him in my arms but this he does not see, I want to see his red car; I want him to want me. This was nice..unfulfilled love can be very painful..I feel that in this piece. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
