What do dragons dream about?
Well, the answer is without
Any concrete proof or seal,
But nonetheless, our dreams are real.

Well, we dream like humans dream,
Of lakes and rivers clear and pristine;
Of vast sunny fields and fresh summer glades,
And more of God's great accolades.

We dream of sitting on the shore,
Spread out on the sandy floor
Staring at the stars of night
That twinkle so and shine so bright.

We deam of rushing through the trees,
Going wherever that we please
And marshmallows eaten by the spoon
By a fire and under the moon.

We dream of having evening flights,
Watching all the grounded lights
And soaring upward through the sky,
Not worrying of how or why.

To feel the air flow past you so,
Like no other feeling that I know!
It catches the current right under your wings,
Oh, what a great sensation it brings!!

We dream of lying on our backs,
Hiking places with our sacks
Just stretching out to bend our knees
In the grass, with lightened breeze.

We dream of all those that we love,
Those we know were sent from above,
And people and places in our lives
That forward and onward it constantly drives.

We dream about the rising sun,
Pondering what God has done
In the early morning breeze
With pollen that tends to make me sneeze.
Could I go on a little more, please?

Of long grassy knolls, rolling green hills,
Big dinner rolls, (Right there)
and paying the bills. (nightmare)

We dream of things fantastic and real
Like mythical creatures with scales of steel
And hard, shiny horns and leathery wings!

Of course, they're just impossible things...

Watching the poets
Passions' guardian dragon
Moves with the rhymes' flow.

This is soooo fantastic! I love the humor and the whimsy. Great job, now I know alot more about dragons than I used to. I'm curious....What bills?  ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Impressive, Spyro! I knew your kind dreamed a lot...but now I know what they dream about! heehee...yeah, gotta hate those bills...I think Draconic Energies charges you too much for your electricity, and I've heard of dragons hoarding gold before...but do you really use your Visa Gold card that much??? Wow!

Wow, I thought when I saw the title, I'm gonna love this poem. And boy was I right. This is wonderful. I kept thinking of the dragon in the movie Dragon Heart. What a treasure you have given here.
