Sometimes when you are standing All alone….. upon that hill And life is all foreboding There’s a heart that’s caring still Sometimes when sobbing tears Fill your soft blue eyes And your life is full of fears There’s a shoulder where to cry Sometimes when sorrow’s cape Is all around your head And sackcloth is your drape Don’t worry hopes not dead Sometimes when you are glancing Upon a gloom filled day There is a candle dancing To lighten up you way Sometimes when you are jumbled It’s very hard to see I know my words I’ve fumbled But the one who cares……. …………is me Jon Mewett |
