Beauty sleeps in her word tower Permeates the world with deep dark dreams, Magical illusions built bit/by/bit Spell/by/spell--pieces of written word Concisely engraved in time; Lyrical musings tightly constructed Soar down rocky inclines-- Blow in sudden still winds Out of reach of mortal minds; Those who can--only sit and weep, Know that they missed something As the flow of words sail by-- Voiceless echoes spread Across the ancient lands Carelessly distorting time To slip pass hands that futilely grasp, As the raging thoughts soars in space; They who can--only numbly sit Stare in awe at the sleeping mind-- (Word goddess stroking rhyme) Beware--lest the beauty awakes Banishing the worlds she creates Forever, in the misty illusions of her mind. |

Tongue very firmly in cheek on this one I thought. I liked the image of this great word-weaver. It sounded like the words were coming down on the hapless heads of the populace in this word-wonder-land!  |
