bleary eyed contentment greets the ghost of Gon
in a land now absent that once was a tasty ice spiral
see him trickle here and there falling chaotic
he smiles to you waving a signalling wand
to air white with wonder sleeping before the green day

and was there once wisdom in the wind as we walked
melancholy to the tower at the point
seafoam christening our toes with tender kisses
and i threw wishes in my dream that night
and the sparrows knew in their other nest
above my head
where my heart was sleeping

How do you write these wonderful things, allan.
This poem encompasses an eternity and a moment in one.
It is such a delight to read your work ...

Allan~
This is just a very beautiful poem.
Full of the intrigue of your mystique.

'and was there once wisdom in the wind'

'and i threw wishes in my dream that night'

Just a softly uttered - WOW !

My goodness, a word smithy extraordinaire, methinks I will have to wander in this one several times to extract all that is in here.

That is the beauty of this, we can all find what we need to find, based on our own thoughts and experiences.
