running barefoot on the beach
a wave rushes in to tease my toes
then back again--
and beckons follow...
hand in hand and heart to heart
i see the ocean in your eyes.
deep from inside you
i feel the tug;
undertow--
let me drown in your love...

hehe...this is great!!
Just like all your other stuff, dg!!

I've always loved beaches and the ocean, and this makes me feel like I was there...and the part about love, I'm no expert on that, but I think you portrayed it beautifully.

Maybe when I'm feeling better I'll go swimming!

Great job, as usual!

DgV,
  What a wonderful comparison between a natural phenomena and a relationship!

i see the ocean in your eyes.
deep from inside you
i feel the tug;
undertow--
let me drown in your love...

EXCELLENT!

I love this, the analogy is fabulous and the romance divine! Love, ellie

that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

This sort of reminds me of a very old movie, with Burt Lancaster, I think it was Eternity. They were kissing passionettly in the waves. Whatever the title, great image.. and great read.

DG~
Found this little gem wallowing on the back pages ...
Glad to have found it.
I love the pull of the ocean waves.
Nicely done.
