Somewhere... out there...

    explore this cavern
       that is my soul
    can you feel the chill
       as you enter
    look into the darkness
       of the deepest passages
          what do you see
    nothing
       only memories
    memories
       of another time
          another place
    frozen as hard as stones
    headstones
       in a graveyard
          of hopes and dreams

Well said, how we freeze our memories into time/place, never to be forgotten.

A few weeks ago, I went with the Alchemist to go explore a nearby cave. It was dark, cold, and a little scary...
Your words brought me right back to that moment! Thanks so much!

But when you are deep in the darkness, and you're sharing it with someone, you'd reflexively reach for someone, and when you've found them, hold them close. That's your light in the dark, the brightness in the dark depths of the cave.

Little Spyro-
Thanks so much for reading and responding.
Glad this brought back memories for you.
Thanks for the reminder that, if we just
