Today a lady asked of me
To write a piece for her to see.
Here it is a post for her.
A poem to Lost Dreamer.
____________________________________________________

On pillows of grass,
Just lay back,
Look at the sky,
And just relax.

Watch the clouds,
Billow by,
And look for shapes,
You can find.

Do not fret,
Life's harsh quests,
Give a sigh,
And calmly rest.

Enjoy the quiet,
Of the sky,
On pillows of grass,
Watch clouds roll by.

If you like,
Softly doze,
And let your dreams,
Boldly go.

Let them take you,
Where they will,
Let peace and grace,
Surround you still.

Enjoy the soft,
Touch of green,
As you sweetly,
Have your dreams.

Kevin,
What a peaceful, serene setting you have painted here, you write so well!

Kevin - your words leave one feeling peaceful and yearning for more (of that peace).  I can remember as a child laying in the grass and looking at the shapes of the clouds.  I'm going to do that today.  Thanks.

WOW! how wonderfully serene this is!
Beautiful!  ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

When I was a boy I used to lie on top of big haystacks and count the clouds or the birds.

I suppose they were big pillows of grass, this took me back.......nice
