A friend recently reminded me to enjoy life.  Thank you Dennis.
___________________________________________________Enjoy Life

The rolling hills,
and distant trees,
seem to reach
out to me.

They long for me,
to simply hear,
the wondrous voice
of nature there.

The life that lives,
among the trees,
the woodland creatures
call to me.

Saying in their,
simple way,
tomorrow starts
another day.

Make it good,
while it lasts,
have some fun,
enjoy and laugh.

We're not different
as it seems.
All life ends
even among the trees.

So I hear,
from them to me,
enjoy your life,
let others see.

What I have,
hidden inside,
I should show,
as my prize.

I will listen,
to what they say,
and enjoy
each passing day.

Kevin

In the wise words of Steven Tyler "Life's a Journey, not a Destination"  So true...I try & remember to have fun & that I am still not ready to turn in my sports car for a rocking chair and needlepoint quite yet!!  Give me an open road, a star filled night, put the top down and buckle up!  Great piece!

Kevin - most of us in todays world rarely take the time to enjoy life.  We're too busy with things that are truly insignificant in the long run.  Excellent poem.

Kevin,
So beautifully you have written these words of wisdom for all to share, nature speaks in many ways and it's lessons are learned by the wise. Thank you for writing this beautiful poem my friend.
