The beauty of this Lace,
creamy white, so delicate,
the pattern very intricate,
lovely to behold.
Does the Queen adorn herself,
this lace upon her gown?
Has such lace been crafted
as art by hands so gifted?
Has the Queen the only lace,
because her name it's given?
No such lace upon her gown,
tis but a wildflower
that grows beside the road,
but still it's beauty there
as royal as a crown.

Ah Ellie,
  A Royal delight
  Is ours within sight
  Fit for a queen
But for all to be seen.

This is a lovely observation-and in your usual lovely style too.   David

Ellie - How do you do it??? This is sooooo lovely, I can see it along the roadside as I read.  And never again will I think of it the same.  This is just beautiful.  Bonnie

What a wonderful poem!  As always, you have captured the beauty and so perfectly described something so simple....I love it!

Ellie,
Another Wonderful example of your tremendous talent to shed light on what may seem insignificant, but in reality is a beautifully crafted work of art, a credit to its' Maker. This is so Good!

A lovely read.
