Salvation

Your melodic voice
carrying me on streams
between conscious thought and dreams.

Merging…
to become the threshold
of new beginnings amidst delicate rains
and mountain top mists.
Where every breath and whisper
magically creates another chapter
in this never-ending tale.

A story of rescue,
and of a broken life made whole again.

O’ glorious salvation!
This precious gift,
received from the delicate hands
of a golden tressed angel.
May you live inside me forever,
as my love for you
will only grow stronger with each breath.

This is my tale of redemption.
Written with feathered pen,
silently...in love’s secret language.
Bound in warm leather,
and stitched with delicate threads
of golden promises.

Gary, How do you do it, how do you so peacefully write these love poems? After I read them I feel I am floating away into the clouds in an aura of tranquility. Excellent job as always, your poems are most enjoyable if you couldn't tell.

Jonas~

I've been captured by this lovely piece.

'This is my tale of redemption.
Written with feathered pen,
silently...in love’s secret language.
Bound in warm leather,
and stitched with delicate threads
of golden promises.'

My how the 'threads' weave me into this 'Salvation'.

A fine piece of writing, sir.
