my workbench is brown
i toil darkened by black oils
but within, rainbows

thinking, i look in
what i see is reflection
best to look, don't think

a pretty hayfield
waving in air's ocean
two birds eat no fish

my head is pure stone
my legs and arms of fine wood
but i am of air

Allan,
A delightful surreal vision of the ordinary! Well done!

As long as we can dream we're ok ...
* sigh *
Or are these some riddles that I am too stupid to solve?
I love your writing, allan. Why are you so good? I'm jealous!

Allan~
How reflective.
I greatly enjoyed it.
