Give me your tiny hand
We feel the warmth of being
Ageless beyond stars

We are here to be
Not to have too much you see
Not to build a prison

Give me your sweet love
I will give you all of mine
What more can we need?

Time is friend and foe
A friend who lets you forget
Though forgets not you

Now I kiss your eyes
As you sleep for one last time
I will love, always

What a beautiful, moving poem...Its flows so graciously..I love it!

Allan,
this is fantastic! Each verse can be taken as a poem in itself, but they can also be considered as a whole. How did you manage that? I'm jealous! And above all, there is a lot of wisdom in your words.
