Here it is, LD...err I tried oki?
love, michelle

Wings of darkness come to me
Grant me this tranquility
As I walk along this shore
Let me see Heaven's galore
Of starry riddles in the air
And shiny pieces of dreams up there

Such a lovely night like this
Let my spirit frolick with ease
In this dark tranquility
Joy and hope and peace within
My heart sings a tuneless melody
Telling a surreal love story
In this night of tranquility
Shall I tell him
I'm waiting for him?

Quietly I sit here and sigh
Such is the beauty of the night
My heart feels like its old and tired
Might be the tranquil setting painted by night
Timeless, blameless, shameless thoughts
Fleet by astoundingly as I realise
Having sat down here throughout the night
Tranquility pulled me to greater heights!

Michelle, I love it! Any tranquility we can find in life is perfect, be it listening to the chirping of a new born birdie, or to be lost in the vast universe of something, someplace, or some person we totally love.
Thanks for meeting the challenge, you did a marvelous job.

"Tranquility pulled me to greater heights"
Michelle; I love this line and your poem is exquisite! So dreamy and so real, that I felt like I was on that beach too. Beautifully written. Ellie

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Many people become blinded by darkness and that makes them uneasy and frightened, You have a way of seeing beauty and brightness in the dark shadows...I can only hope to accomplish that myself someday!

Excellent poem :0)

I love this post. So very "tranquil" in its imagery. I want to sit there too and feel the peace and calm. Wonderfully written.

Michelle, being a person who much rather burn the midnight night oil than study in the daylight..this post speaks to me..yes, i like to calmly sit in a quiet place and reflect on a "night of tranquility" too
