Sir White Knight kindly pause a bit
thine audience, I seek,
I knowest, that I am but a kid
and to thou, it's me honor to speak.

O Thou, to whom e'en dragons give heed,
a vision of uprightness, the realm throughout,
and Bravest of all on thy trusted steed
it is only Thee, that I seek out.

I alas, am a youth impov'rished,forlorn,
but not for my lack of trying,
tho' my humble descent, not, I scorn
nor my roots, am I denying.

But within I hunger for more,
than for life's necessities,
and it's you, my Hero, adored
Who caused me to desire these.

Honor be not bartered by trade,
it's not but for those of wealth,
but is it not of one to be made
as one chooses for himself?

I've seen in thee O fairest Knight,
what I could only dream to be,
but if thou permitted me, under thy sight
as my mentor,great things thou wouldest see.

And thus comes my most humble request,
allow me to serve at thy side,
as your lowly servant, on your quests
I shall keep thee all well supplied.

No chore is too lowly for me to do,
for I know of tasks that others disdain,
'twould be an honor, in service to you
and at thine call, loyal I would remain.

For I seek greatness to learn from thee,
I,Euclid, son of the cobbler,poor,
am willing thy eager servant to be
and to brave what hardships be in store.

O noble Knight,on thy trusted steed,
in your kind nobility,grant it so,
my father will be honored by thy deed
I pray thee,dear Knight-lead on and we'll go!
