TIME:

Happy and sad,
A moment in bed,
Always charging forward,
And never sleeping...

Hands in motion,
Hunger being fed,
Slipping by discreetly,
And sometimes creeping...

Methodical,
A mere step ahead,
Of predestination,
And record keeping...

Holding steady,
A chance for the dead,
Infinitely pressing,
And forward leaping...

A memory,
Only in my head,
Gone before you know it,
And onward sweeping...
