TWILIGHT

I long to see,
The wakening sight.
Of the sky,
In mid-twilight.

To see the graceful,
Shades of blue.
As if it were,
Calling you.

To visit some,
Distant place.
To let your mind.
Touch wisdom's grace.

I love to see,
The first of stars.
It moves the strings,
Within my heart.

I hear a voice,
Softly say.
Now's the time.
Reflect the day.

So I think,
Of good and bad.
I learn so much,
Each time I have.

The moment of peace,
Closeing each day,
As my worries,
Drift away.

Tomorrow night,
I long to see.
This wondrous time,
Enlightens me.

Kevin,
WOW! A beautiful reflection on a special time of day. A time of renewal and inspiration as well as a time of release from burdens! I like the simplicity and imagery of this one! Dennis :^)

Kelieth~
As twilight begins to surround my day -
I know just what you mean -
awesome thoughts ~

'I hear a voice,
Softly say.
Now's the time.
Reflect the day.'

And I sit in earnest time of reflection.
