A rural town in Western New York,
My own little piece of heaven,
Fifty miles from Niagara Falls,
From Attica, just twenty seven.
Five minutes away is Letchworth Park,
The Grand Canyon of the East,
Silver Lake's in my backyard,
A place of blissful peace.
A sparsely populated county,
With more cows than people here,
Just two stoplights on Main Street,
And of course, an occassional deer.
In winter, snow blankets the hillsides,
In Spring, soft, beautiful days,
Summers are hot, but lovely,
And in Fall the trees are ablaze.
This place I'm proud to live in,
I'm content here and don't need to roam,
From this cozy, little community,
This place my kids call home.

Very well written!  An excellent addition to the challenge. I drive into Buffalo, Niagara Falls and western New York often, I live just across the border

Take care,

Sounds like a beautiful place, excellent response to the challenge.
