My mums have been eaten by slugs,
Not spiders or beetles or bugs,
They're out there each day,
They won't go away,
Not even for beer served in mugs.

At first there numbers were few,
Stopping in for a nip or two,
Now it takes all my time,
Keeping up with their slime,
And dispose of their left behind goo.

But they won't get the better of me,
For I've got a plan you see,
I'll pull up a chair,
And I just won't care,
I'll drink beer instead of iced tea.

WAY TO GO! You let them Slug know who's Boss! Delightful verse, sure brightened my day (now if I can only ignore all the slugs around me here at work (LOL) and no beer to fortify my effort).Great read!

Hey! Bonnie;LOL! Really no laughing matter.
I had those guys in my garden and you are right, they are disgusting. You can get special stuff for them at the garden center.
