Rain falls unbridled
Lapped up by the thirsty soil
Eddy currents swirl

Lightning leaps unreigned
Black cloud hides the skittish Sun
Turning day to night

..........................................
< !signature-->

 Moonbeams radiate
When the veiling cloud has past
Playful shadows dance

Dennis; You weave a tapestry of magical wonder in these simple few lines. So
excellent. Love, Sis #;?)

 Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

I wasn't there to experience it- but I feel like I was--your brief words cover it well.   David

Well written but I almost have to ask if there was more than just the storm?  Maybe its just late and I'm reading to much.

Regardless I like it.
