theres a moment
between sleep
     and dream
where my heart aimlessly
          wanders.

theres a fire
being snuffed somewhere
in a soul
with used-up wishes.
          only sadness remains.
     laughter heals the wounds
     but for a moment.
          love is something far away...

theres a second
when my heart forgets
and boldly believes again--
but seconds fade,
     and memories linger--
and scars dont wash away...

beautifully written but quite sad. I get my blue moments and they are exactly like you described. great poem.

This is powerful and sad, I must agree, but it is full of truth...

.... although I have showered a thousand times you scent still lingers on my mind.

This is a very well writen poem, it sounds as if you could use somebody to share your warmth with.

Hope those scars are fading fast, my friend.  Enjoyed this, as I do all of your work.

This is so true....although I think those scars, however painful, all make up a part of who we are, so we just hang on and hope it heals quickly this time.
