Political Correctness, use it or you're out,
You really can't say what you're thinking about
Ev'n tho' he's the Pits, you must just let it pass,
You can't come right out and call him an...ashtray.

You must choose your words wisely, show a little
  tact,
You must detour the the truth that you know is a
  fact
Deceitful Politeness, you must use as a shell,
While you smile and tell others to go straight to..
  health.

Some have it down to a very fine Art,
Saying nothing, yet something, is meant on their
  part
Denying all involvement, oh what will be next?
Since "sexual relations" is no longer sex!

This political correctness drives me up the wall,
Why can't they say what they mean, or nothing at
  all?
An oxymoron itself, which produces such works,
If you ask me, all Politicaians are nothing but
  Jerks!
(Oops!  I meant Verbally challenged wimps!)

That's funny!! I love it. I know what you mean. Somebody once told me that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were now called Virgin By Choice and the Seven Vertically Challenged. Political correctness is sometimes going too far and this post really reflects that.

Fun- da- mentally correct although maybe not polically correct. Yes, I agree it actually borders on rights deprived-"free speech".

You have lightened with humor a serious thing yet, your humor does not detract from the seriousness of it.  Very good job.

That was visually pleasing, concieved with much intellect and other such big words.

Newspeak, plus good, Orwell wasn't far wrong when he coined these words in "1984."

P.C destroys words, thank god it never probably caught on.

double plus good poem,

 ------------------------
"I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards

"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time".

Baltimore Grotto

"Libraries gave us power
Then work came and made us free
What price now for a shallow piece of dignity"
Nicky Wire, A design for Life.

manic street preachers
"Rock 'n' roll is our epiphany
Culture, alienation, boredom and despair"

"To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."

E.E Cummings.
