Feeling down and out, just think of love. Then, if you doubt it, I'll give you a shove. Being with you, makes me feel good. I will be true, as long as I live. Today I lived, Today I learned, Today I cried, Today a part of me died. Remembering the memories, and the joy we had; I've cried all my tears because I am so sad. Savoring the times we had. The fun and the laughter. Everything was good, not bad. I realize now, I loved you. Today I've lived, Today I learned, Today I cried Today a part of me died. Waiting and hoping, that's all I can do. If only you could see, I loved you. Dreaming and lying, playing it cool; I need you to see, I was such a fool. Today I've lived, Today I've learned, Today I cried, Today a part of me died. The time I've lost, I really needed. I couldn't afford your cost, so you left me. The love I showed, you took as unreal. My heart, you hold and squeeze it to death. Today I've lived, Today I've learned, Today I've cried, Today a part of me died. Don't you understand, I loved you so much. I'm dying without you, I need your touch. The joy I had, has gone away. epot, I'm sorry. "I realize now, I loved you." Is it too late? Hope not. Send her a copy of this poem, with a little gift that isn't disposable, like a locket, something that she can wear and be reminded of you. A little trick gift, if you will.
