Old Frisky There is lots of things going on in my world, can I tell you what? You might think it is dull here, but there is mystery to this plot. Just because the hair is gray, and the step not as quick as before, It's still lots of fun living this life, I hope to do lots more. Now just getting up each morning, that in it's self is a good start, That first cup of coffee is great, it is the primer for the heart. To sit and look at the world when it is cool and quiet, that's a real treat, Things just don't look the same later on, I guess it is the heat. By now you are wondering, what is this old man trying to say, Don't get in a hurry, that's the problem with people today. I haven't yet decided how I will spend the next several hours, I could, if I wanted, just sit here and look at the trees and flowers. But that would waste a beautiful day, and as they are dwindling down, I think I should do more than just sit, so I will probably go down town. There I am sure to meet a friend, and pass the time awhile, It will let me stretch my legs, and try out my smile. For life is not just a job, a time to work and strive, It's time for looking around, seeing, feeling alive. Excitement to some is breath taking trips, or risky rides, To others it's an ocean voyage, going with the tides. To some it's knowing that you have done your best, and are satisfied, You didn't always win the fight, but at least you know you tried. So when I say there are things going on, and excitement in my life, I just took my viagra, and tonight I am going to thrill my wife. |
