In my wildest dreams,
the minutes slow to hours
and I am defined not by what I say,
but by how I see things.
The layers of a lifetime
unfold to the melody
of a gurgling brook,
or a rushing waterfall...
and, like water, rush away
to be soaked up in the sand.

In my wildest dreams,
demons dash against barriers
and I am defined not by where I go
but by how I get there.
The chase of a lifetime
ends with the clarity
of a crystal clear stream,
or a mountain catchment...
and, demons evaporate,
to be absorbed by the air.

In my wildest dreams,
decades float on the breeze
and I am defined not by how I aged
but by the ages I have mastered.
The passing of a lifetime
slows to the pace
of a trickling summer’s rain
or a dewdrop sliding from a spring flower...
and, passes on,
to the warm, waiting earth.

Again,i am thoroughly impressed with your beautiful gift. This is SO very wonderful. I am a great lover of nature and i especialy liked the last paragraph/stanza......so beautiful!!!!
