Explain in verse.....

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

Too much is going on
There's nowhere else to turn
I can't find my own life
And I got a little bored

Sorry, just can't find the words in my head to create new poems.  No clue where everyone else went!  Luv y'all!

My minds confused
reality's refused
dredging dangerously
can't see optimistically
rainbows unreachable
muse is despicable
motivation expired
waiting to be rewired.

~The corner pub
     sounds like a place
        where you sit around
            in companionship
                where you recognize
       every face~

~I was here drinking
      some suds
          No one came by.......
              Where's all my buds?~

LOL  Sorry, best I could
do on such short notice.

Recently had surgery
limited use of arm and much pain
Will actively participate
when the hurtin' begins to wane.

Well i just walked in
and
to me there was a din!
no shortage of folks
smiling faces or jokes
'seems lively as hell
& Happy trails!
no barman ringing the bell!

So sorry Lizzie
I've been so busy
Things start to grow
there's grass to mow
Computer broke down
Been running around
Hibernation is done
Out having some fun
Too much work ...so little time....really miss the people the poetry and the pub..hope to be back soon.

I think the purpose of the Pub was for a smaller crowd than Open Forum....a quieter, gentler pace.

Writer's Block Monster

Sharp mean teeth baring
Evil monster bites my ass
Clinging on real tight
Weak body struggles in vain
Trapped in its cruel clutches

facing a severe case of writer's block--will be more active if it takes pity on me and leaves me alone

I had never come
Never stopped by
I just decided
To peek my face in
Posted a poem
Yes, here I did
Quiet, and peaceful
A nice place this be
I hope I'll dwell here
More often maybe

The days roll by
To rapidly,
56 hr weeks,
are drivin me crazy.

I'm here when I can,
Reply to as many post,
As I will always be a fan,
To this room and it's hosts.

Quickly time passed,
My worries, they grew
'Til there wasn't a moment
To post a poem or two

Monsters attacked
My pen grew still
As days moved on
My mind did fill

With endless thoughts
Through endless days
Wandering around like
A mouse in a maze..

With new hope in my eyes
I've found my way home
So relieved to see
That I'm not alone

So in keeping the spirit
Of such good cheer
Please pass the wyne
And know I'm happily back here...

I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell.
